Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy explains what information Fane Games ("we", "us") collects when you play our mobile games, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to all games we publish on the App Store and Google Play.
What we collect
Our games do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or contacts.
- Gameplay data. Events such as starting, completing, or failing a level, boosters used, and coins earned or spent, along with session start and end times.
- Device and app data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate country (derived from device settings or IP address).
- A random install identifier. Generated by the game on first launch so we can tell sessions from the same installation apart. It is not linked to your identity and is reset if you reinstall the game.
- Crash reports. If the game crashes, technical details about the crash (stack trace, device state) are sent so we can fix the problem.
- Advertising data. Our games show ads. To serve and measure them, our advertising partners (see below) receive your device's advertising identifier (on Android, the Google Advertising ID), device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads you see.
- Install attribution data. To learn which ad campaign, if any, led you to install the game, our attribution partner AppsFlyer receives your device's advertising identifier, device and app information, IP address, the time of install and of each session, and the in-app purchases you make (product, price and currency, never your payment details).
Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. If you choose to save your progress, a copy is also kept in your own Google Play Games or iCloud account; see below.
Saving your progress
So you can get your progress back after reinstalling the game or moving to a new phone, the game can keep a copy of your save in your own account with your platform's game service: Google Play Gameson Android, and Game Center with iCloud on iPhone and iPad. Signing in is optional; without it, the game works the same and your progress stays only on your device.
The saved copy contains your level progress, your in-game coins and items and their history, lives, progress in in-game events, your play statistics, the nickname and avatar you chose in the game, a random player identifier created by the game, the random install identifier of the device that wrote it, and when it was saved. It does not contain your name, email address, contacts or payment details.
The copy is stored by Google or Apple in your account, under their privacy policies, and is used only to restore your progress in our game. We do not run a server for saved games and do not receive or view the saved copy. When you sign in, Google or Apple tells the game which player is signed in so it can find your save; we do not store or use that identity for anything else.
How we use it
We use this information to operate and improve our games: understanding which levels are too hard or too easy, balancing the in-game economy, and finding and fixing crashes. Our advertising partners use the advertising data described above to show ads in our games, to measure them, and - only where you allow it - to personalise them. We do not sell your data for money.
Ads
Ads keep our games free. Some you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward; others may appear between levels. With personalised ads, our partners may choose ads based on data about you, including your activity in other apps. Without it, you still see ads, but they are not personalised.
Service providers
We rely on the following third parties, which process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for gameplay analytics and crash reporting (Firebase privacy information).
- Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) to mediate and serve ads, including programmatic demand bought through the ironSource Exchange, where third-party advertisers bid to show an ad (Unity's privacy policy for game players).
- AppsFlyer for install attribution: measuring which of our ad campaigns bring players and how they perform (AppsFlyer's privacy policy).
- Google Play Games Services (Android) and Apple Game Center and iCloud(iPhone and iPad) to keep a copy of your saved progress in your own account, if you choose to sign in (Google's privacy policy,Apple's privacy policy).
- Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive your payment details. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase.
In-app purchases
Our games are free to play and offer optional purchases of in-game currency. You can disable purchases using your device's parental controls or store settings.
Your choices
- If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the game asks you, separately, whether we may measure how you play (analytics, and which ad brought you to the game) and whether ads may be personalised. Neither happens unless you agree.
- Everywhere else, analytics, install attribution and personalised ads are on by default, and you can turn any of them off at any time under Privacy Settings in the game's settings. Where the law treats sharing data for personalised advertising as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (for example in California), turning off personalised ads is how you opt out.
- You can also reset or delete your device's advertising identifier, or opt out of ads personalisation for all apps, in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Inside an ad, the privacy icon offers Unity's own choices.
- Saving your progress to Google Play Games or iCloud is optional. You can delete the saved copy at any time from your account: on Android, in your Google account's Play Games settings; on iPhone and iPad, in your iCloud storage settings.
- You can ask us to access or delete data associated with your install by contacting us (see below). Deleting the game removes all data stored on your device; a copy saved to Google Play Games or iCloud stays in your account until you delete it there.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and is then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. A saved copy of your progress stays in your Google Play Games or iCloud account until you delete it. Advertising data is kept by our advertising partners under their own policies, linked above. Install attribution data is kept by AppsFlyer under its own policy, linked above.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our advertising partners are told that our games are not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
